| Have your own portrait painted and have a reminder of the healing power of movement. All body shapes are encouraged to participate. Yoga can be a journey that moves us toward valuing our bodies.
The painting can either be a direct image of you or it can disguise you in creative hair, clothing, and colors. You will be able to have your input into the colors and emotion of the painting. You have the option to sign a waiver, letting me sell copies of the painting, to reduce your cost. Most paintings can be completed in about two months, and average $600. This cost includes shipping. The price and length of time depend on size and initial start date. To reduce the price to $400 you may choose to sign a waiver allowing me to sell copies of the painting. If you live near San Francisco, CA, I can make an appointment to come photograph and sketch the pose you pick. You may also choose to be photographed by a friend. The portrait will be completed from the photographs. I hope to understand what it is that you want out of the painting and the colors that inspire you. The photographs that you submit for the portrait will only be used for the creation of the portrait. If you would like the pictures returned to you, please include a self addressed, stamped envelope with the photos. Give someone a portrait as a gift. Gift Certificates are available. Email and request one. If the painting is commissioned and completed by Portraits of Yoga, but is not paid for within one year, it becomes the property of Portraits of Yoga and may be resold to other customers. |
